THE SHOWS Quantico - AGAIN
Okayyyyy so, I re-watched it. Totally paid attention. No laptop or Candy Crush. I like the show. It isn't at all what I thought it was going to be. I thought it was going to be all about FBI recruits and their stories as they went through training. I was wrong. Apparently one of the recruits is a terrorist. The question is which one. Week one, my favorite recruit was set up to take the fall, but you know it can't possibly be her. She's the star of the show, the one doing the talk show circuit and she's hot. I'm sure there's a set up and/or an inside plot or something and at this point, I am interested in finding out who it is. I do have an issue with the show. There is a set of secret Muslim twins . No way the FBI doesn't know about them, I mean Jason on Big Brother figured out that Liz and Julia were twins in week 3. If twins, MUSLIM twins no less,  are walking in and out of Quantico, I'd think Quantico would know. So many background checks and everything, no way Quantico's THAT clueless.
Life in Pieces
I don't know what to make of this one. I love the cast and the concept, but something's missing. Maybe it needs to be funnier? The concept is that the show centers on a family with no last name and we see 4 little stories about one or more of them in the 30 minute episode. The stories are cute. Matt's broke and living in his parents basement and saw (and heard) his parents having sex. Matt's first date with a co-worker, Greg and Jen are having trouble breast feeding their newborn, Heather, Tim and the kids are moving and hired ex-cons to help them. All those stories sound cute, don't they? They were, but not cute ENOUGH. The cast is top notch. Skyler from Breaking Bad, Dianne Wiest, Colin Hanks, and Thomas Sadowski from Newsroom but to be honest, all I cared about was James Brolin's amazing hair. I STILL can't picture Barbra and James hanging out at home but now, I see her way too long nails going through that unbelievably perfect mane of hair. I don't think I'm giving this one a Season pass, but the hair alone might bring me back for another episode.
Masters of Sex Finale
What happened to Masters of Sex? Where did it go wrong this season? How on earth could we all have lost interest? This show was a winner. It was getting tons of buzz, remember? Lizzie Caplan and Michael Sheen were Emmy nominees last year and this year…nada. I enjoyed the addition of Josh Charles, he was perhaps the best part of Season 3 but I had a hard time with Virginia AND Bill this year. We always struggled with Bill and his awkwardness, we accepted that we were supposed to have a hard time feeling for him and then when we did start to, we understood why. We NEVER had any issues loving Virginia, until this season. Virginia always seemed to be the strong, smart, woman who knew what she wanted and how to get it, until this season. Dan and Bill both offered Virginia options and by the time the credits ran, we still weren't sure what her heart (and her head) belong. I know I'll be back next season but I'm hoping it's the last one and I'm back to just finish what I started. What a bummer of a season.

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah

Just to be clear, as much as I loved Jon Stewart, I wasn't a Daily Show viewer. I watched clips that went viral and his last couple of weeks, but I definitely didn't tune in every day and I won't be tuning in to Trevor every day either. I checked him out though. He was decent and I'll admit, it's nice to see someone who looks different than every other young white guy in a suit in late night. I have one take away really, just one. He blinks a lot. The guy blinks A LOT. I don't know if it's the eyelashes or just that's his way, but it's very distracting. So if anyone over there at Comedy Central has any notes for Trevor, I'd add the blinking thing to those. Just trying to help.
THE OTHER STUFF
-Based on week 1's numbers, and after seeing that Blindspot's premiere went from a 3.1 to a 4.5 when you add in the 3 day lift, NBC gave the back 9 green light. I haven't seen last nights episode yet so let me get back to  you on this one.

-For anyone that has been watching Jimmy Kimmel over the years, you know the Matt Damon/Jimmy Kimmel history. To this day, Jimmy ends his show apologizing to Matt for not having time for him. Every time Matt has a movie to promote though, Jimmy has to come up with something to help his buddy out. Last night's installment of the Jimmy/Matt saga continues with their couples therapy session. Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nPuZ9chE7s

-While Kimmel was continuing to evolve, Fallon dusted off the Password thing and played a game with Rob Lowe and the 2 Broke Girls chicks. The only reason I'm including it today is because Rob Lowe is hot and I love him. It's enjoyable purely for that reason. http://www.nbc.com/the-tonight-show/video/password-with-rob-lowe-kat-dennings-and-beth-behrs/2913369
-For all of you Walking Dead and Fear of the Walking Dead fans, I'm sure you know this already but more zombies are coming. The Fear finale airs this Sunday, and then more zombies on 10/11 when The Walking Dead's 6th season bgins, so does the new AMC web series, Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462. Did the vampire thing last as long as the zombie thing? I feel like the zombie things a lot longer for some reason, maybe cause I hate zombies?

Tuesday's Trivia Question: NAME THAT STATE WEEK continues: What state does Grey's Anatomy take place in?
