QBlinks: iPhone Remote Control and Notification Center

Posted on the 14 August 2014 by Anna Peterson

QBlinks is a new, multi-function gadget that is meant to be used as a remote control and notification center for your iPhone. Here are some of the things this Bluetooth Low Energy device can do:

QBlinks Remote Control and Notification Center

- alert you if you receive notifications from different apps on your smartphone
- work as a camera remote shutter
- activate Siri
- play music
- help you find missing phones (makes them ring even in silent mode)

QBlinks runs a cloud-based platform, which allows you to connect one iPhone to several QBlinks devices at the same time. It also keeps a log of all notifications and room temperature (saved to Google Drive). You can set a LED light to flash (up to three times) each time you receive a notification and you can choose the color of the LED light (seven colors available).

The creators of QBlinks are currently raising money for this project, so if you’d like to help them out or just learn more about QBlinks, head over to their official Kickstarter page.
