Not much seemed to happen to write a pupdate for last week, so I thought I would save it and combine everything into one this week. Looking back at the photos though I probably could have done one last week, so I apologize for the amount there is in this post! 9 does seem slightly excessive, but he is really, really cute so I don’t care that much. These are ranging from when he was 8 and 9 weeks, he was 10 weeks on Wednesday just gone :)

First thing, big news… he sleeps through the night! He was doing this from about 9 weeks and I literally couldn’t believe it. He shouldn’t be able to do this for a while yet so I’m really happy with this. Although most mornings I’m still getting up at 5:45, this doesn’t seem as bad after you’ve had a full nights sleep instead of the odd couple of hours here and there. I definitely think it’s something to do with him being able to go in the garden now, as it means he can be totally wore out all day and night which helps him to sleep through. Hopefully it will get even better when he can go for walks, and I’m going to try and get his wake up time at around 6:30-6:45 eventually as that will be perfect for university.

He absolutely loves the garden. It’s the funniest thing seeing him run around chasing whatever he can find, and mid-run photos are my absolute favorite. He has the funniest little run, to be honest it’s more of a waddle! As far as house training goes, being in the garden is really helping to get him better. He still has the odd accident in the house but most of the time we can catch him in time to take him outside.

Last week he had to have his first bath and oh my god it was the funniest thing. He practically halved in sized! Afterward he looked like an absolutely scruffy little mutt until his hair dried all nice again, but I think baths are going to be a regular thing for little Rufus bear with him being so fluffy and having white paws. All I’m going to say is he is also very fluffy around his bottom and sometimes it can get a little messy, therefore I am usually on hand with baby wipes literally wiping my dogs bum. I never thought I’d be doing that, but it’s not like he can do it himself!

He knows sit now, but still is trying to get the hang of ‘down’, as in ‘lie down’. He’s getting there though. The cat isn’t a massive fan of him, but he’s a massive fan of the cat sadly. He isn’t aggressive towards him but he loves running up to him with his tail wagging, barking at him. I think it’s because they haven’t spent much time together yet so hopefully they will get used to each other eventually.

Also, he may or may not be turning into a teddy bear. I can’t quite tell yet. His face is definitely getting cuter if that’s even possible, and it makes me laugh how miserable he looks most of the time. Resting bitch face, just like his owner!
