Punta Del Este, Uruguay

We made a one-time visit to Punta del Este, Uruguay. It’s a beautiful little cosmopolitan beach town that I explored on a passenger excursion. Elton John, Shakira and other celebrities have stayed there so you know it’s nice. Also, Trump and Hilton have huge hotels there. I visited Museo Ralli which showcases the work of Salvador Dali among other artists. Casapueblo is the house of artist,Carlos Páez Vilaró. It sits on the top of a hill overlooking the water. I wanted to move in! After the tour was over, a few of us went to a restaurant called Napoleon and ate delicious non-cruise ship food. On the way back to the ship, we spotted a huge jelly fish and some sea lions. Definitely my kind of place.
