PTI Transformed Priority List of Women Candidates for the Reserved Seats

PTI flagPakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) late on Monday night transformed its priority list of women candidates for the reserved seats for Punjab Assembly.

According to PTI sources, the move was a part of party’s strategy. It was the second time when PTI transformed its priority list of women candidates for the reserved seats for Punjab Assembly.

The final list, in which several names were displaced, was submitted to the Provincial Election Commission at 11:45 pm. According to the rules of election commission, now any change in priority lists is not possible.

In the previous list, the name of Shavana Bashir was on the top which now has been slumped the 13th place. Sadia Sohail leaped from second to first position. Rizwana Iqtadar, who was earlier on 42nd position, is now on 45. Nighat Sultana slumped from 7th to 43rd position.

The names of Nasreen Tariq, Nousheen Hameed, Naheed Naeem and Hina Kashif were removed from the new list.
