PTI’s Arif Alvi Clinched NA-250, Karachi

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Dr Arif Alvi has clinched the National Assembly seat from NA-250 Karachi after re-polling at 43 polling stations.

According to the unofficial results, PTI candidate secured more than 77,649 votes in the entire 180 polling stations of the constituency. Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) candidate Khush Bakht Shujaat was runner up with 30,365 while Jamaat-e-Islami’s candidate Naimatullah Khan secured 11,659 votes.

PTI candidates for the Sindh Assembly constituencies PS-112 and 113 Khuram Sher Zaman and Samar Ali Khan also won their seats in the re-polling by obtaining 35505 and 38,247 votes respectively.

MQM, Majlis-e-Wahdit al Muslimen (MWM) and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) had boycotted the re-polling.
