Proof Over Potion

Proof over Potion
I first heard about this product being mentioned and used by youtube guru's in their monthly favourites and scattered in their GRWM videos, and we purchased this without a second thought.  This Proof10 eye primer by Etude House works great in enhancing the longevity of shadows and prevents creasing on the oiliest lids.
Putting it simply; I feel like this is a great dupe over the coveted Urban Decay Primer Potion.  I have tested this out on numerous occasions where one eye would be primed with this, and the other with the UDPP, and around the 10 hour mark, both still held up equally as well as each other.
The UDPP to me feels a little drying, as it seems to accentuate this teeny dry area of my inner corners, and I tend to often make the mistake of putting too much on, which then usually causes me to have trouble blending shadows properly. The formula of Proof10, however, is more emollient and thinner in consistency, blends in more easily, and even if you do make the mistake of using too much- it's still good!

UDPP is thicker and applies more yellow-toned, whereas Proof10 glides on easier and is more pinky toned. Both are clear once blended in.  Not sure if it is obvious in the picture, but the UDPP made the tiny crevices of my wrist stand out a little bit more, and only held on the color where the primer was centrally applied.  Proof10 seemed to have blurred out those crevices and the grasp of the color was more even and distributed.  All 3 swatches of shadow were swiped on twice in the same area, using one of Natio's baked eyeshadow trios.
Proof10's packaging is a little unnecessary, the wand portion is a decent size, but the actual lid is just a waste of space.  In terms of scent, it has a similar smell to the UDPP, possibly just a tad stronger, but the smell doesn't linger.
You get 10mls of product in this (full size UDPP has 11mls) and as with all primers, a little goes a long way! Overall I find myself reaching for this so much more frequently as it applies and performs easily, without having to worry about applying the 'right' amount :)
If you are still on the hunt for a good eyeshadow primer without the price tag then this one is the way to go!
