The Project “Calle” has been developed by Spanish artist Jorge Fernández Cuadal with the aim of finding a new and innovative way of exposing his own creations.
In fact, as many artists in Barcelona may know, Catalan laws are extremely strict when it comes to usage of public space for expositions of art pieces. Well, apparently there is a hole in the rules, as artists may not be able to expose their work in the streets, but they are allowed to move them through the city. So Cuadal has decided to use this moment to expose his work and get closer to his public with something that can be considered as the first attempt of constantly moving exhibition ever conceived.
In the video below, the artist also exposed his take when it comes to the choice of works to exhibit, as he wants them to be consistent with the cultural and structural environment of the city landscape.
