Product Review – Downy Wrinkle Releaser

By Vsudarsan

Do you hate ironing your clothes? I don't have the patience or the energy to press my clothes like the way I used to. I was quite excited when Downy offered me their latest Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus to review - which is a nice smelling spray that will remove wrinkles on fabrics! Within a few days, the products arrived in a beautifully packaged box.

I pulled out some of my most crumpled outfits, pillows, throws, etc., for testing purposes. To get the full benefits, I had to spritz slowly, then tug and smooth the fabric right away. And, to be safe, I stayed at least 8 inches away from the spray. The liquid dries up fast and each spray has a good coverage without irritating my hands.I believe silicones in Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus grip the fabric fibers in garments making it possible for them to slide against each other rather than being frozen in a crease. I've some pictures of how the fabric got its crispness and how-to-use instructions from Downy's website. The first fabric is very thin, and the second is a thick pillow. As you can see, this spray has done a very good job in both cases. Both are smelling fresh and looking good!

Even though, it might be possible to use this product to get the full ironing effect, I think it would work best for touch-ups on wrinkles here and there. I can see this as a perfect travel accessory to get all the wrinkles off a tightly packed outfit from a suitcase. Finally, the scent is just perfect to freshen up the outfits. And, this would work well to freshen up the drapes, pillows and throws in the home as well! There are plenty of ways to use this product, especially during the holidays. I really like what this has to offer and so glad to share my review with you today! Pick up your bottle of Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus at a nearby Target!
