Princes Bonfire Night Party
Some of you might know that I was not brought up in this country.  When I first heard about Bonfire Night, I wondered if it is like how Little Britain did it in the show where people just burnt their old furniture.  Of course, Bonfire is not about burning furniture but it is a celebration.Princes has created Bonfire Night Party recipes for you to download.  There are also activities and fun game ideas like apple bobbing, making firework rockets using toilet rolls.  They even made a list of top 10 tunes:
1. Firework – Katy Perry
2. Handel’s music for the Royal Fireworks
3. Rocket Man – Elton John
4. Relight my Fire – Take That
5. Light my fire – Will Young
6. Disco Inferno – The Trammps
7. Great Balls of Fire – Jerry Lewis
8. Eternal flame – The Bangles
9. Blaze of Glory – Jon Bon Jovi
10. Sparks – Coldplay
They also give you a list of hot dog toppings to feed the family.  My favorite topping is the hot dogs with sweetcorn relish onions.  It looks so scrumptious.  It is a mix of sweet and savoury flavours that makes these the perfect finger food with a difference!Serves 6
Ingredients
1 x 560g can Princes Jumbo Hot Dogs
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 medium/ large Red Onion, peeled, halved and thinly sliced
4-5 tablespoon Sweetcorn Relish
6 Finger rolls

How to make it
1. Heat the hot dogs according to the instructions on the can.
2. Melt the oil in a medium frying pan over a moderate heat, add the sliced onion and cook for 5 – 8 minutes
until softened.
3. Stir through the relish and heat for a further minute
4. Cut the finger rolls down the center vertically, place in the hot dogs in the rolls and drizzle over the hot sweetcorn and onion relish to serve.
What's your favorite way of eating your hot dog?  BBQ sauce, peri peri sauce, sour cream etc.  I do occasionally use hot dogs to eat with my instant noodles or use them chopped up in fried rice.. For your information: Princes Premium hot dog in brine is made with mechanically recovered chicken and pork, and also with Beef Collagen.  They are not suitable for non-beef eaters like Buddhists or Hindus.
Disclosure: We have received the products to do a Bonfire Night Party.
