Now I know that this isn't the best product to be reviewing because as far as I know it is no longer sold in Primark stores but after spotting it in Amy's blog sale for just a pound I knew I had to snap it up! I had been on the lookout for this little box since hearing Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter raving about it in a couple of her videos and had struck gold when it popped up. When you hear Primark and cosmetics together I'm guessing that you wouldn't have the highest expectations for quality and pigmentation but this little duo has certainly surprised me and I can see it becoming a staple in my every-day makeup bag. Since receiving this blush and bronzer duo I have been using it pretty much every day which shows just how much I love it already, and since I featured it in last week's Friday Favourites post I thought I would give it a post of its own.
L-R: bronzer and blusher.
As you can see from the swatches above, the bronzer is more gold toned than your average bronzer but I actually love that about it as I think it will be the perfect summer bronzer for a little bit more shimmer on tanned skin. The blusher looks a bit darker in the pan but swatched it comes out as a very subtle baby pink with some gold shimmer which I have been using as a highlighter as it gives a lovely glow to the cheeks without being too in your face. Since this has been discontinued it will obviously be a difficult one to get a hold of but if you ever come across it I would definitely recommend it!
