Post Office Delivers Passport Instead Of Stuffed Animal

By Nottheworstnews @NotTheWorstNews

The Toronto Star reports that a woman in England received a surprise in the mail due to an error by Canada Post. Instead of a home-made teddy bear from her daughter in Manitoba, she received a passport belonging to a woman in Montreal.

3 Questions That Arise From This Story

1. Now how is the bear going to get to England without a passport? We hope the daughter can sew a sad face on the bear.

2. Has a chicken and egg dilemma been created for the woman in Montreal? She can’t get to England without a passport and her passport is in England. “Zuts alors!” she might exclaim is she spoke French.

3. How do postal workers confuse “important security document” with “fluffy happy toy bear.” We could understand confusing bills with flyers since we thought those were the only things mailed in 2014.
