Let's see a raise of hands. How many of y'all have ever felt inferior, like someone was better than you or like you weren't doing enough? I know my hand is raised. What will they say about my blog? Or me? Or my style? The picture quality? In essence...you're worried about being judged or being compared to someone else. Stop right there. Seriously, stop dead in your tracks and march right back down that path you came down. It's so easy for us to allow someone else to make us feel inferior. But what we fail to grasp is that the very person we are allowing to affect us like that, has insecurities and the same thought process. The truth is, it's human nature to have insecurities. We are surrounded by others who do the exact same thing...which is why we need to branch out from that form of thinking. So you are taking pictures on self timer for your blog and worried about being judged...to be honest those people won't think back after 5 minutes. If someone asks? Be proud of what you're accomplishing!  Maybe someone doesn't like your blog...its OK! It isn't the end of the world.Let's think about the positives and the originals. What do you do better than anyone else you know? Do you have your own website...maybe a photography page? Or perhaps you started a successful Etsy shop or play for your school's intramural volleyball team...whatever it is, YOU are able to do that! How are you original? It's simple. You're the only you out there.  You have your own personality, your own little quirks, and YOUR own ideas! I know it's hard not to look at other blogs and go WOW! why isn't mine like that? Remember baby blogs grow and each blog, baby or not, has a different following. Don't try to change to be like another blogger, be you! People will like you because of your genuineness, not because you're the same as another blog. Not to say you can't get ideas from them, but don't try to be a copy of them. xoBCC
