With just 25 days to go (gosh I can hardly believe it) our poor Postie has been arriving at our door laden with parcels and packages.
Recently we’ve had our welcome sign for the village hall arrive and our pastel coloured badges from Awesome Merchandise, as well as some photos from DSCL that I’m going to make into little flags for people to wave as we head out of the church.
I’m utterly in love with the super Sweet William Designs handpainted mugs that I ordered for my folks, Garry and his Bestman…Today a wonderful array of colourful rosettes, from Rocket Rosettes, landed at Wedding HQ. I found this little company thanks to ebay and its crafty owner, Joan, has been wonderful. She has made me “Happy Helper” rosettes to say thanks to everyone who helps us decorate the village hall and “Tea Set Totty” ones for all the folks who collected china for us. My favourite is the “Best Wedding Cake” rosette for my auntie who has now finished creating an abundance of sugar roses to adorn the cake. I’m going to order a few more today to ensure that everyone who has made something for the big day and helped gets a village-fete-style-thank-you!
Still to arrive is our “The Union Jack Club – aka the man crèche” sign for the little marquee and my hunt for a cheap print of the Queen continues, as no mess room is complete without a piccy of Liz.
Ooooh la la prep for the big day is certainly hotting up…
