As soon as I read this post, I ran to check out the ingredients of the shampoo I'm using at the moment. Both the J& J baby shampoo and my Herbal Esssence shampoo have a component of Cocamide but not Cocamide DEA. Not sure if they are the same or are they different. It would be nice to get some clarification on this. If you do know the difference, please let us know. There is also a list of products mentioned in this article that are said to contain Cocamide DEA. Some of the brands mentioned and available in India is Pantene, Paul Mitchell, Lush, Palmers, Moroccan Oil. Not all the products in the above mentioned brand are said to contain Cocamide DEA. WE have enough health issues as it is and we definitely don't need to get cancer from our shampoos :(
