Essie Van D'Go & Models Own Snowflakes
After posting about the new Models Own Wonderland collection the other day I just had to get adding these lovely topcoats to different polishes and today's combo includes Snowflakes and Essie Van D'Go. Regulars on BTCE will probably be fed up hearing about Essie Van D'Go as it's without a doubt my favorite shade of nail polish ever, and the pinky peach is my color of choice when I want to brighten up my nails in the gloomy Autumn season (and it makes a nice change from browns). I have been absolutely loving the various shapes and sizes of gold flakes in Models Own Snowflakes and think that it would make any shade of nail polish look so festive and ready for the Christmas season, although it is a pain in the bum to apply as you don't get very many flakes in each coat and have to keep applying the clear base which can become quite gloopy. But I can forgive it for that as it is just so pretty.
On a side note, you'll probably notice that my pictures are starting to look a bit darker and that's really just because natural light is very limited now and when it does decide to come out I'm usually at uni or work. I'm trying to find a better set up for taking my photos but until then I'm afraid you'll need to put up with the dark, sorry. I'm sure you're all in the same boat so hopefully we can all find a way to make this work, and if anyone has any tips for brightening up photos before editing then please do share!
