Smoothies are brilliant as a breakfast or a lunch. Or even as a snack. And they are so easy to make from fresh or frozen berries, so you don’t even have sweat over making them. Just pop a couple of good quality ingredients into the blender that voilà! your morning is to a good start. As simple as that!
I sometimes like to experiment with smoothies, but I must confess that most of the time I am very traditional when it comes to smoothies. The best smoothie to me is still the very basic banana, orange juice and strawberry combo. So, no funny business for me! Just old-fashioned, basic stuff!
That’s why I love this Pink Berry Smoothie. Ok, I love it for its color as well. I usually make the Pink Berry Smoothie from fresh red berries, but you can make it from frozen ones as well. The fat-free Greek Yoghurt makes it a bit creamy, but it’s still very light tasting. And you can just feel the vitamins charging your batteries. That’s exactly what we – or at least I – need during the dark and dreary winter months – a little pick me up! Doesn’t even looking at the Pink Berry Smoothie make you smile and go ‘It’s gonna be a Good Day’!!
