Pink and Gold Valentine’s Day Table

Pink and Gold Valentine's Day Table

Did you celebrate Valentine’s Day this weekend? I feel like since Valentine’s Day is on a Tuesday it means you can spread out the love a bit. You can celebrate a little over the weekend and continue right on through the week. Which basically means sweets and treats everyday! I did not add much Valentine’s Day decor throughout my house but I did decorate my table with some pink and gold just for the big day.

Pink and Gold Valentine's Day Table Decor

I didn’t leave anyone out of this table setting. Even the high chair got a little love!

Pink and Gold Modern Farmhouse Valentine's Day

I love the simplicity of tulips. Just goes to show you don’t have to get an elaborate flower centerpiece for special occasions. A bunch of a single type of flower can be more elegant. Put them in a mason jar and call it done.

Pink Tulip and Gold Accents

And the fresh pink color has me thinking spring not just Valentine’s Day! I used a tea towel with gold polk dots from Hobby Lobby as a table runner.

I also added my gold antler that I had in my Christmas decor. I have a feeling it won’t be getting packed away anytime soon.

Jelly Belly Pink and Gold Table setting

Gold chargers, white ironstone dishes and pink napkins pull this table together. Oh and Jelly Belly’s are a legitimate appetizer right? Those dishes did have more Jelly Belly’s when I started these photos. But they slowly disappeared one by one. I have no idea where they went 😉

This is the first time I am getting to show you my Christmas present from Matt. My new gold silverware. He is such a good gift giver! And he did such a good job wrapping the gold silverware that I bought for myself and then handed to him and said here this is what I want for Christmas! Ha!

My banner is a leftover from last year’s decor. A cute little addition thanks to Target’s Dollar Spot. I can’t walk by that area without picking up a little something! And the puff ball garland is a recent addition. Tutorial coming really soon!

Love Pillow

Let’s have some pillow talk.  I mean let’s literally talk about this pillow. I purchased a cute little iron on transfer and a white pillow case for a quick Valentine’s Day craft. I was so excited to just whip it together. I ironed that transfer till I was nearly burning the pillow case. The transfer was a dud! It only left a faint outline where the transfer was supposed to go. When life hands you lemons, make lemonade right? A black sharpie marker worked perfectly to color in the design. See not everything in blog world is perfect.

Valentine's Day Table Setting

I love how my pink and gold Valentine’s table turned out. It was a quick project with mostly things I already had around the house.  Oh and my boys think all the Jelly Belly’s are gone but I have 2 more bags waiting for Tuesday! Shh, don’t tell!
