During my drive from Dunedin to Christchurch, I came across this gigantic field of Wildflowers. Even in the shots, they almost don't look real do they?!
I pondered for half a second, whether to stop. And I am so glad I did as this field was so much fun to photograph. The vastness and the layers meant playing with the aperture gave lots of different blurry effects.
Don't you love that. You are in the car, listening to the Harry Potter audio-book, everything is as it should be. Then out of nowhere, New Zealand slams you with a beautiful scene of nature that causes your breath to catch. Like holding the air in your lungs might hold the moment just a little longer.
Gotta love this country.
