Good Morning! Welcome to this week’s photo challenge theme. Submitting a photo that had something to do with COFFEE, of course, came to mind. But then I remembered I actually SAW a sunrise while on vacation to Mackinac Island a couple of weeks ago. There are many mornings I am up before sunrise but I rarely take the time to watch the sun come peeking up over the horizon. Much of that has to do with all the trees around my house. It would be a good hike or drive to find a clearing that showcased the splendor of such an event. While on Mackinac I had the perfect circumstances and location:

For what it’s worth, I had to wait another good hour (plus) before I saw evidence of my traveling companion. Hubs likes his sleep.
