I was over the moon when I learned that Philosophy had opened its flagship store in Megamall, and I wrote about it here. So I was really bummed when I received a text message yesterday that it’s closing the same one it had opened just two years ago. It had been really difficult to buy their stuff prior to them coming to Pinas. Even Beauty Bar did not carry the items I wanted.
A few weeks before their announcement I had to travel all the way to their kiosk at Greenbelt 5 to buy because the store in Megamall was out of stock. And then just last weekend, we noticed that the kiosk was no longer there!
The good news is that they will continue to consign with Beauty Bar and sell online via Sephora.ph (I will post about this later) as well. At least I can see that my fave facial wash is in stock. I love Philosophy. Too bad they don’t have a strong local following.
