Former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf will decide the fate of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) General Secretary Dr Muhammad Amjad on Saturday (tomorrow).
The resolution, which APML Central Executive Committee (CEC) had passed on Thursday to sack Dr Amjad from his post for allegedly working against the interests of party, will be presented to the former president on Thursday after which he will decide the fate of Dr Amjad.
An APML representative told Paknews that whatever decision Pervez Musharraf makes, will be acceptable to everyone.
29 off 32 members signed on the resolution against Dr Amjad while party’s Information Secretary Aasia Ishaq and two other members Karim Khan and Hafiz Mahiuddin went against it.
The CEC is reportedly in favor of making Ahmed Raza Kasuri the new General Secretary of party.
