ONCE UPON A TIME PRINT
I have a little obsession with wall art and prints like these, I just think they're so adorable and can usually be personalised to say whatever you like, in what colours you like and sometimes even what fonts you like too! You usually find that they come without the frames but IKEA have so many amazing frames at super low prices so don't worry about having to spend a fortune! They make a fabulous gift for a new born baby, toddler or even as a treasured keepsake christening gift! There are lots and lots of websites online that provide them for you so have a good old browse before you decide on the one you want!If you're feeling a bit crafty, why not make your very own? They're probably one of the easiest things you can make and all you need is a computer, printer, good quality printer paper and some nice fonts too! You can then make it exactly how you want it and it probably only costs you a little bit of time and about 5p per sheet of paper, bargain!
DIY Cloud Garland I've seen so many adorable DIY ideas around, but I think this is one of my favourites, it's pretty easy to do and really gives a nursery the sweetest little touch! You can change up the colours and fabrics as well as size and length, make it exactly how you wish and for both sexes too! The best tutorial online I found was this one from Landon&Tamara, give it a go and see what you think! :)
What you will need;
Needle
Material to stuff your clouds with
Felt
Thread
You can even use different materials to create hearts, stars, ladybirds, anything your child loves you can follow this tutorial pretty much exactly the same and still have an amazing result! I totally pictured little Peppa Pig's across them too, although I think that's very very adventurous! :)
White Alphabet Wooden Letters These White Alphabet Wooden Letters are big and chunky and perfect for nurseries, bedrooms and kids’ dens. An amazing little idea you can use these for is if you have a birthday party coming up, order the initial of each child that's going, put glitter, paint and felt pens on the kitchen table and then let them paint and decorate their letters (that's an hour taken care of!) and then sent them home with their painted initial instead of a party bag!
They have a very matt surface that is easy to paint or decorate. They can be hung on the wall using the nail hole provided on the reverse or they can stand up as they have flat bottoms! But the perfect way to personalise your little one's room without breaking the bank too! Decorate them yourself or keep them plain, they're a pretty basic canvas to work your magic on!
