When I received the opportunity to try out Perlier’s Volcanic Thermo Scrub, I leapt at the chance!

Perlier wishes to transform the energy of the volcano into an “anti-aging energy” for the skin by extracting micronutrients from volcanic rocks to deliver  rejuvenating & smoothing actions in a gel-like scrub.

Larger mineral particles work side by side with the Thermal water to stimulate regeneration deep in the epidermis of your skin.

The finer powders smooth the skin, remove dead cells & rough areas to leave the skin soft.

I initially used as an all over body scrub.  Unfortunately, after a week my upper back began retaining some of the larger mineral particles & I began experiencing clogged pores. I switched to using solely as a foot scrub {get it? hehe} since flip-flops, Barre Classes & my hyper-sensitivity to foot touching  have trashed my feet.  I also use on my thighs for that pesky cellulite that comes with being bottom heavy.  J.Lo really needs to tell everyone her secret. Please?

Pros

1. Great fresh/clean, spa-like fragrance.
2. Did not irritate my sensitive skin.
3. My skin was smoother after one use.
4. A small amount of product goes a long way.
5. My cellulite looks less noticeable in my upper thigh area.
6. My feet are smoother & less calloused, which means no more putting nail technicians in jeopardy of a broken nose from my over ticklish feet. 
7. Uses natural minerals.

Cons

1. Experienced clogged pores, but I have super sensitive, anti-change skin.
2. I have small shelves in my shower & the larger tub is sort of bulky.
3. I wish that it was in a pump or squeeze bottle so that I could control the amount of product dispensed a little better.

Verdict

I would definitely consider purchasing other products in this line.  $25 is a steal for a spa quality product that you can use in the privacy of your home.
