Nerdist.com has released the second episode of its new animated podcast, Superego. Superego, the podcast series of fully improvised episodes, explores the psychological case studies of eccentric characters based on well-known comic book, sci-fi, and pop-culture legends. This latest episode features the case of General Zod, the notorious super villain from Superman who suffers from Narcissistic Personality Disorder. We join the Kryptonian General and his legally appointed defender, voiced by Patton Oswalt, in a stasis cage during the final moments before the trial for Zod’s failed attempt to overtake Krypton.

The original, hysterical, and demented shorts are animated by Brandon Mahlberg and developed by “Analytical Pscience” experts Jeremy Carter, Matt Gourley, and Mark McConville. New episodes are released every Tuesday on Nerdist.com.
