A few highlights of his analysis on Burkina Faso recent revolution:
- Like in other recent popular revolutions particularly in Northern Africa, the Burkina Faso revolution has somehow been hijacked by France and US; Burkinabe masses descended on the streets and removed Blaise Compaore, but Western embassies are pulling the strings of the new direction of the country from the start.
- A dictator has been removed and this is a good start. The next step is to achieve a fundamental revolution that eradicate a system of governance that favours external interests at the expense of the national ones.
- An imperative necessity of educating African masses and new leaders to emerge from such revolutions is important. They need to be told that unless they break the strong links of the Western system of using them for their selfish strategic interests, their efforts of change will be useless. They will be wasted. Consequently, an improved political conscience is necessary. Uprooting the neo-colonial system should be the ultimate objective.
