Doing an early morning call Monday through Friday is a commitment – and the commitment is really for the future.
We set our goals for the year, the quarter, the month and then on Monday’s we set our goals for the week.
We do this because to have the future we want, we need to be engaged in our present.
We can only do now – this moment – with our choices or decisions and actions.
So we weigh in each morning and each of us say, “I’m present” because when we are – we make magic for ourselves and have the future we desire.
Albert Camus said, “Real generosity toward the future consists in giving all to what is present.”
It’s exciting to me to be leading a group whose futures are so exceedingly bright!
