I have been a fan of Patanjali products and I was one of the first ones to feature his products on the blog.Read all my reviews HERE Patanjali is a brand owned by the famous yoga guru Baba Ramdev who makes skin care, food items, medicines at affordable prices and all products are made in India.His products are a hit among most people but my experience says they can be hit or miss.

Coming to Patanjali Saundarya Kesar Chandan Aloe Vera Gel this is another variant in his line of skin care products. The original Aloe Vera Gel was reviewed on my blog ages ago, you can check that review HERE So this one seems to be a better version of the earlier one I feel. The gel is yellow in color which obviously means they have added some color to it, hmm. Well it claims to contain Kesar (Saffron) and Chandan (Sandalwood) which if you know are 2 ingredients which do wonders for the skin.

The texture is lightweight but a bit more emolient than the original one.It takes  a minute to completely absorb into the skin. It helped me in getting rid of dry patches on the skin. In my opinion this will do a better job as a face primer than the previous version as I tried it under a compact powder and it worked well. It should work for all skin types but if your skin is extremely dry you may have to use more than normal. Honestly I felt the smell was artificial but tolerable as it does not last long when applied on the face.Claims about reducing pimples and wrinkles may not be true, I mean how can that be possible??
