Park Hyatt Milan – Rooms with More Than a View

By A Beauty Feature @abeautyfeature

When I visit or stay at a hotel such as a Park Hyatt entering one of their guest rooms or suites I always stop, take a moment to look at the work of the Housekeeper Manager and their team, the planning that has gone into making this moment of mine, one of awe and an overwhelming feeling that I have arrived back. Recently on a trip to Milan staying in one of the terrace suites at Park Hyatt Milan, I just had to meet with Housekeeping Manager Wally Trivini to find out how I can use the stunning Park Terrace Suite, in this dynamic fashion city.

Park Terrace Suites are 65 m2 with panoramic views of Milan from a magnificent terrace furnished with outside sofa and dining table. Hand-blown Murano lamps, a comfortable king-size bed with a spacious and elegant sitting room. The terrace suites at Park Hyatt Milan have subtle autumnal colors, silk and velvet upholstery with really high ceilings.

This suite has an expansive bathroom, and I can’t stress enough the word expansive. The marble bathroom features double sinks with custom-made bronze fixtures and a black finish, deep soaking baths and octagonal-shaped showers, and don’t forget the mini bar it’s in the bathroom. This is a well thought through touch you can really enjoy this too good to be true bathing area. My clothes were all hung up in the two huge open clothes closets also built into this bathing and dressing area, so I could get ready and not be in the guest living or sleeping area, very private.

The bathroom amenities are created and designed by Lauro Tonatto, who is an Italian independent perfumer. Tonatto created an exclusive fragrance especially for Park Hyatt Milan, and by the way she also creates fragrances for George Clooney. Ms. Trivini told me that many of the guests to Park Hyatt Milan really do use the suites in the best way possible, first the hotel has many families who like to travel together staying on the same floor. At the same time she will adjust the housekeeping schedule to meet the needs of some of the families who are late risers, often well after midday.

Then she will work with Food & Beverage to make sure room service needs are anticipated, fruit plates delivered regularly, then pizzas (where else but Italy) delivered for their children, while all the time fashion houses bring the latest fashion from the Piazza del Duomo and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, for the Park Hyatt Milan guests to browse at their leisure.

In the morning do sit out on the terrace, enjoy your coffee read the paper – yes the paper and take some time to view the beginning of a glorious Milan day, look onto the Duomo di Milano which is so close you could reach out and touch the spires, you will be hard pressed to find such an excellent location and room with such a view in Milan as well as a team of staff that are anticipating your arrival to those views.
