There are times when you are traveling and a spa treatment is a nice way to treat yourself, one aspect of a spa treatment that I truly enjoy is a treatment with an excellent therapist. At a recent visit to Melbourne and stay at the Park Hyatt Melbourne a booking for an Organic Aroma Facial at their spa was in order. The new Spa Manager Apple Poonlumlert met me when I arrived; she has a true spa nature and a wonderful spa communicator.

While we talked about the treatments my therapist arrived and to my incredible delight my therapist was Ludmila Jefremovova one of my favorite therapists in Australia. I have had treatments from Ludmila since 2005, and even though she has worked on some of the best cruise liners around the world, it was just wonderful to find her at the Park Hyatt Melbourne Spa.

A regular skin care program is critical to maintaining healthy, vibrant skin. Ludmila promotes to all her clients that her facials combine a complete skin analysis with a customized treatment program designed for their particular skin type and conditions that are always changing due to the environment and general health. The 1hr organic aroma facial started with a double cleanse and tone followed by an application of 30% AHA/Glycolic peel. The peel was left on for a few minutes, then removed and neutralized. This small but effective part of the facial will lead to luminous look at the end of the treatment. A treatment mask and a number of various beautiful aromatherapy oils treats for the skin were applied and beautifully massaged in, accompanied by a blissful head massage.
