Paris Fashion Week: Dries Van Noten

By Thedailyfashionfeed @dailyfashfeed

Dries Van Noten showed in Paris last week and by now I'm sure we've all seen it enough, but it was one of, if not my favorite SS13 show, so here is is again!  Paris Fashion Week: Dries Van Noten
One of my favorite trends, no matter what year/season etc is 90's grunge and clearly Van Noten's inspiration had been taken from the 90's grunge scene which gave us a modern take on the masculine/feminine theme that ran throughout.

Peplums, loose tailoring, work shirts, knits, midi skirts, maxi skirts - the show had it all. From plaid reworked into taffeta, organza, lame and florals - everything seemed to contradict each other but in couture-friendly silhouettes and that 'I don't care' grungy attitude or, more eloquently put by Tim Blanks it was "Grunge Couture." Whatever you want to call it, the collection was amazing and I for one will be sporting this look come Spring 2012.

What did you make of the collection? Will you be taking inspiration for next Spring?
