P Factor

By Healthhungry @Healthhungry
I always hate the P(ee) factor... I have been very hydrated today which equals a whole lot of trips to the ladies room.  However, this too shall pass!(And it feels good to see clear pee - that is something I haven't seen in awhile. :)  Before heading to class, I grabbed a juice.
P Factor It was different - interesting... I liked the fresh zip of parsley.  When I read the ingredients I marveled at how much produce when into a little bottle of juice.  It make me think I am happy to stick with my Vitamix which uses all of the fiber and pulp...
P Factor3/4 leaf of spinach?  Huh?When I got home from teaching, I was surprised that I didn't feel overly hungry.  I wasn't in panic-starve-mode like I thought I would be.  I was, however, at a loss of what to do.  I picked up some things at the store(sure feels good to have cart pride!) came home and did some things around the house, drank a full glass of water before making my salad.
P FactorLettuce, red peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, raw sunflower seeds, and a dab of Vegan Goddess dressing.  I watched the first episodes of The Big C (I LOVE that show, so glad to have it back)  It really makes me feel grateful for life.  The characters are often facing issues of mortality mixed with good ole' fashioned life on life's terms.  It's well done - I often laugh through tears which is my favorite emotion.   Susan Sarandon guest starred as a woman named Joy who held seminars on finding your life's joy... she beat cancer by juicing and changing her mental attitude.  LOVE it! ;)
P FactorMy dinner was tastier than my picture; Brown rice tortilla, tuna with celery, peppers, cranberries and Vegan "mayonnaise" accompanies by...
P Factorglorious brussel sprouts!  I tossed them with a bit of olive oil, sea salt, and balsamic vinegar and roasted them for 30 minutes.  I didn't use my flat baking sheet(mistake) because that gives them a more crisp roasted texture and flavor - but they were still tasty!  And I ate almost every one of them...Have a good night!
