What Is an OwnPhone?
3D printed, the OwnPhone is a very simple, very small cell phone. It is 2G, voice-only handset, and the best part is that you get to design it any way that you want!
OwnFone is the world’s first 2D/3D printed mobile phone that calls the numbers you need. It’s small, light and infinitely customizable! Using it couldn’t be simpler! There’s no screen, text or internet. Simply press a Word or Image button to make a call. You can have 3D buttons too, like Braille and Raised Text. You can even draw your own buttons!
You can print out a word with 22 characters, an image, 3D buttons, or a full numerical keypad on your OwnPhone, and decide which numbers you want on your phone. You can check out the video of Thomas, the founder of OwnPhone, explaining more about his ideas in the video below.
