Oh, ovals! How I love you. My own ring is an oval, so it is my favorite shape (beating our radiant cuts by fractions of points.) I love the smooth symmetry, the elongated look, and the fact that they look bigger thanks to their proportions. I also love that you don’t see them everyday. So when I see a fellow oval bride, I give her the head nod. And when I see more oval diamonds in the RLJ showcase, I give them a whirl on my hand. Diamonds shrink with age you know, so I always like to keep an eye out đŸ˜‰
