Since I love the outdoors, I take this opportunity to make my ultimate outdoor wish list. I've been jotting down gears I want all year. I guess this is the best time to lay it all out there for my love ones to see. You might get some ideas from my list, so feel free to grab. I don't mind at all. :)

First on my list is the waterproof First Aid kit, (the most essential item in your backpack), from Craigdon Mountain Sports. What I love about this most is it's waterproof. I should own one of these. I'm a nurse and everyone is expecting me to bring one of these during our backpacking trips, but I don't have one. I would really love to receive one on Christmas.

When I first join a major hiking trip, I bought the cheapest jacket I could find. I was just a student that time, and that was all that I can afford. Now that I found my passion for outdoor adventure, I would love to own one of these, Women's Kira Triclimate Jacket from The North Face.
Although I own a set of these, I still want another cook set from MSR (quick 2 system cook set). The one I owned is only good for two people. Since we usually go on group trips, this set will be perfect. No need to bring two cook set for the whole group.
I have been using ziplock to keep my things dry, but having Lifeventure Dristore dry bag in varying sizes would be great. Ziplock easily tears apart when rub to a rough edge. And water has the tendency to find its way to your dry clothes when it's not properly close.
One of the issues you encounter when going on a hiking trip to tropical areas, is finding a good source drinking water. Since you can't guarantee to find one, might consider bringing a water purifier. So far the best water purifier I used was the MSR Miniworks Ex. A friend of mine owns one, and I was able to use it twice during our hiking trips. Since then I'm dreaming of having one of these.
My wish list doen't stop here, but I'm afraid I might bore you if I continue. So lets just stop it here for now. Hope I convince you to make your own wish list.
