It’s finished, my first outdoor mural on canvas! The good news is that the colors from the Sharpie markers still look as vibrant as ever. The only drawback is that when you look closely, there are still some wrinkles due to shrinkage, which my perfectionist side is trying to get used to. If I had to do this over again, I would cut the canvas to the exact final size needed so when the dry wax art was glued, the entire mural would shrink as one piece, and I think keep the edges a bit more flat. Oh well, I still adore the colors, and am about to try a Matisse mural next. Can’t wait to see how this art holds up in the hot California sun. Stay tuned...
