Since we bought our first home at the beginning of this year, our garden has been such a joy to experience. Our two kids love spending time outdoors, we entertain, and enjoy meals in our back yard, and part of the experience is having a beautiful garden to spend time in!
When we eat we are surrounded by the plants that we upkeep and plant anew. Although we have a gardener who does the big yard work, including maintaining the bushes, grass, mowing the lawn and keeping the garden looking it’s best in large part. My daughter and I love to get planting, both in spots of soil in the back yard as well as in the planters at the front of our home (which really is the first thing you see when arriving) so we try to keep it planted with all kinds of flowers and pretty! We use planting soil, top soil, and then plant seeds we have bought from a variety of stores of flowers we like the look of, and wait for the little seedlings to bud, and then watch as the plant grows, and blooms (our favorite part).
Gardening has been such a joy since we moved in to our first house with our very own garden, it’s an ever growing and changing process, and both my kids get involved; my 3 year old son loves to help with watering the plants. Seeing the gorgeous results is family’s favorite part, and guests, when they complement the yard!
