By Shivam Ralli @shivamralli167
No pain, no gain. A quote we hear quite often. It means that nothing great is owned without struggle and sacrifice. If you do not bear pains, you will have no gains. Great deeds cannot be accomplished while lying on a bed of roses.

Nobody likes pain. Gain is the unwanted wish of human behavior. But conceptions and success of competitive professional  signals that the reward of hard pain results promising gain . Actually God has not gifted our life to feel of always gain sensation, But to distinguish gain with respect to pain with pertinent life test. Pain actually sets the scale of gain. For example, Christ suffered on the cross and won the crown of immortality. Socrates drank the cup of gall before getting the glory. One has to fight one's way through thorns, difficulties and hardships to reach the throne of supreme power.

Ouch! That hurt!- Well you ought to gain something from that! No pain No gain!

I think you got that now! :)

Nothing can occur without calamities. Turn to any celebrated painter, musician, poet or philosopher, you will find that they have toiled upward through long years. This is no easy royal road to great achievements in life. Great deeds are the rewards of endless and infinite labor.

If one wants to know the real pain behind a success story of world's bigger entrepreneur, then one must read the autobiography of these biggies. Professional dealing had scaled them at higher and gave them  fanciful return in their lives at the cost of higher business dealing pain.  The freedom struggle for Indian had a large list of sacrifice many are told but more than that are untold. The cost of freedom put in big pain to our respected freedom fighters. Many of them were leading very nice and prosperous life. But they had bought this pain to gift us to enjoy the taste of freedom.  We must worship their sacrifice  for our whole lives.Nowadays, all people care about is money, and wealth and gain. Whenever you start an activity, you only focus on the gain, thus ignoring the losses that come along. Every single action has a side-effect, a theory proven even in science.Great scientists, discoverers, inventors, social reformers, political thinkers have worked night and day before they could achieve their ideal. Their heights were not attained by sudden flights. Untiring industry and constant struggle have made them great. For perfection is attained by slow degrees. Greatness and glory do no fall down like soft gentle rain from heaven. Greatness thrives only on sweat, tears and blood. Now let me quote a personal example:This site that you are reading this article on, well it didn't start easily. I had to go through many ups and downs to get this into working condition. The first hurdle: My Parents. They said it's the year for you to study. Don't go doing stuff. blah. blah. I did this myself without their consent ( 1 advice, if you wanna do something yourselves: do it without telling your parents because they are your biggest supporters and your biggest critiques). Then I had to face the pressure to upload new articles without fail. Afterall, a website can't go hit by itself. I had a site before and in the end it died it's natural death. For this one, I promised myself that I would never let that happen to this. I have kept myself to that promise till yet. Next came the domain. I and to tell about the blog/site to my parents then. I did, and when they saw the success, they agreed and well, I have the site up and running. It was not a piece of cake but in the end it was sweeter than the cake.

Ouch! That hurt!- Well you ought to gain something from that! No pain No gain!
See what I am talking about? It's never easy to achieve success without taking the pains and doing it. It has to be done with fervor and a passion which comes from one's own self!Pain is the greatest teacher. It shows the importance of success to one after one accomplishes it. It gives us the pleasure and joy of doing it.Another personal example:

I had a tablet, well I still have- but a different one, this tablet was my first tablet. Once this happened that it bricked up by itself. I took it to the service center. They said to come in a week. Long story short: I got my tablet after 2 months. 2 WHOPPING MONTHS. Well, okay, I was happy that I had my tablet back and smiled at the wait. But then, again after 2 days it bricked up again. I got fed up, angry, and was full with sorrow on like WHAT THE HELL, I HAVE TO GIVE THIS TABLET BACK AGAIN IN SERVICE! I took out my laptop and began searching with such a speed that my parents were shocked by the speed. What I couldn’t  fix 2 months back (with a lot of searching then of course!) I fixed it in 10 minutes. Now, some pains give a helluva success.

In conclusion, nothing comes silver plated, you have to face pain. According to the theories of some individuals- Pain is for those who have done something bad but in reality pain is for all of them who want to make a change in this world or achieve any level of success. Nothing is going to hand itself to you, you have to strive for it. And if that means going through some pain, it doesn't matter, for if you work hard enough, you'll definitely get some gain out of it!
