Oscar Opinion, Predictions and the Winner
It's already the Red Carpet live on the TV, and I realize that the list that I wanted to do for a long time is still pending. But, I still got to do this. So keeping it all short.

Here we have this years Oscar hopefuls. I give you my prediction, my actual opinion about who should win and later once the winners are announced, I will update with the actual winner.

So, let's get started.
Best Movie
Eight movies fight it out for the coveted prize this evening

Oscar Opinion, Predictions and the WinnerOpinion: Amazing films happened this year. "The Revenant', 'The Big Short', 'Mad Max' and 'The Spotlight' are all my favourites, but I think the two most important stories that was told this year was the Wall Street Drama, 'The Big Short' and the journalism Drama, 'Spotlight'. Of the two, on the whole 'The Big Short' stood out as a complete film in all departments. Cast, story, edit. My vote is for 'The Big Short'.
Prediction: On the top is obviously 'The Revenant', but there's a chance that 'The Big Short' or 'Spotlight' could surprise you. 'The big short' did that on Producers Guild Award.
Winner:

Saoirse Ronan, Rooney Mara talks to the host at the Red Carpets. Brie Larson is here directly out of a jet from Vietnam. Saoirse looks stunning and this is her second nomination after 'Atonement'.
Best Actor

The Best Actor category has had a clear favorite this year, but the ensemble in 'Spotlight' did good for themselves too.
Oscar Opinion, Predictions and the WinnerOpinion: I think there's an obvious winner. This is the year for Leonardo di Caprio. I feel great that
this is the year he wins the award, because he has no opponents for his performance as Mr. Glass in 'The Revenant'. The performance that comes close to Leo's must have been Michael Fassbender's potrayal of Steve Jobs, but it still lacked the rawness and grit that Leo brought out with his character.
Prediction: Leonardo di Caprio, no doubt.
Winner:

Matt Damon who is nominated for his role in 'The Martian' is here. The little actor from 'The Room' who shared space with the Oscar hopeful Brie Larson, Jacob Trembley talked to the host. He needs to be back home soon. His sleep time is 8 :D
Also, the stunning Priyanka Chopra makes an appearance and shows her 'S-position'.
Best Actress

The Best Actress category too has had a clear favorite this year, and it seems that Oscar would probably not deviate.
Oscar Opinion, Predictions and the WinnerOpinion: Brie Larson has been a clear favorite. I have missed on the films that the girls ruled. 'Carol', 'The Room' and '45 years' needs my viewing. My wild guess is that if there is any competition for Brie, it would come from the magnificient Cate Blanchett. Her portrayal of the nervous wife in Woody Allen's 'Blue Jasmine'. She is not new to the Oscar race being the winner twice. But, I think the Oscar jury would see it right to follow the other award nights.

Prediction: Brie Larson for 'The Room'. This performance has been given awards everywhere, and seems like the hands down winner.
Winner: not yet
The hosts talk to Sylvester Stallone, Lady Gaga, Liev Schrieber and Naomi Watts.
Best Actor in Supporting Role

The exclusion of Idris Elba for his performance in 'Beasts of No Nation' was a huge controversy. The whole negligence of Blacks and boycotting of Oscars started with this.
Oscar Opinion, Predictions and the WinnerOpinion: Sylvester Stallone did win at the Golden Globes, and Mark Ruffalo has always been a
strong contender, but for me there was a performance that was never acknowledged anywhere else. It was Tom Hardy, and he was the strong anti-hero that pushed forward Leo's strong performance in 'The Revenant'. I wish he wins, else it would be a shame.
Prediction: As mentioned, Sylvester has won once. 'Spotlight' ensenble cast too have made a great impression on the jury and Mark is an integral part of it. Mark Rylance from 'Bridge of Spies' won the BAFTA. My guess would be Mark Rylance, but Sylvester has the advantage of being of age and jury could sympathize that he might never see another chance to win this idol.
Winner: not yet
Everybody is talking about CHris Rock as the host on stage for this year's Oscars, and a crane shot shows the huge insides of the Dolby Theatre.
Best Actress in Supporting Role

Except for Rachel McAdams, I think this category has had really powerful performances.
Oscar Opinion, Predictions and the WinnerOpinion: Jennifer Jason Leigh has been a very interesting pick and 'The Hateful Eight' star would be a good surprise. But from what I saw Alicia Vikander looks the strongest. But, it's been mostly a Kate Winslet year, in this category.

Prediction: Strongest contender and the most obvious fight would be between two brilliant performances. Kate Winslet as Steve Job's secretary in 'Jobs' and Alicia Vikander as the wife of the first transgender in 'The Danish Girl'. The Oscars might favour Winslet.
Winner: not yet.

Matt Damon's doppelganger hold the important decisions of tonight in his suitcase.
Best Animated Feature film
We all know who is winning this.
Oscar Opinion, Predictions and the Winner
Opinion: The only other category as clear as a script this year other than Leo's opportunity is the Best Animated feature. Everybody loves the 'Inside Out'.

Prediction: 'Inside Out'.
Winner: not yet.
Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling is on security duty. Kate Winslet and Leonardo talks of their chances today.
Best Director
Several strong contenders and Innaritu leads the race. 'The Big Short' director, Adam McKay has had his glory too.
Opinion: Innaritu is a very strong contender and very deservedly too. But, I wish that this one movie director must have the coveted prize : George Miller for 'Mad Max : Fury Road'. That movie was visionary in all sense,
Prediction: Probably Innaritu might win hos second consecutive Oscar. Hopefully for the same reason he might lose it to Adam McKay.
Winner: not yet.

'Spotlight' cast talks to the host. Mark Ruffalo talks about protests that talk about sexual abuse which is the main topic in the movie.
continues....
