My today's review is from Oriflame. They have a normal collection which is a bit pricey and a Very me collection more targeted towards the teens. The prices are affordable and hence they are my favorite line to try products from. The product I will be talking about is called VERY ME NO TIME FOR SHINE PRESSED POWDER IN MATTE LIGHT.

The Oriflame Very Me pressed powder comes in a transparent packaging with the Very Me logo printed on the cover and on the back there is a small booklet stuck with the shade name, ingredients and other information.You get a puff along with it which has a white and pink print on it.The puff is of real good quality . I have washed it a couple of times and still looks the same. I had got this pressed powder quite some time back and the packaging really sold the product to me. I don't know why I like cosmetics with transparent packaging... Lol.. Well the packaging may look nice but sadly overtime the lid came off. NO i did not drop it, but if you get a lot of use out of it the cover may get loose. However I managed to fix it. It is travel friendly and does not open up easily if carried in the bag. There is no mirror which I did not like because it is necessary to have one for touch ups on the go.
The pressed powder comes only in two shades - MATTE LIGHT for lighter skin tone and MATTE LATTE for medium to darker skin tones. I chose the light one. The Powder is very smooth and silky. It goes on matte on the skin as claimed. The shade is a perfect match for me and goes on very natural on my skin. It has a nice pleasant smell, nothing overpowering. Now this pressed powder is not only good for setting your foundation but also can be used alone to keep your face shine free. However it does not have any coverage so you can't expect it to do wonders for you. I usually use it over foundation or BB cream to give a nice and matte finish .The powder lasts for 3 hours or so after which you need to touch up as the T Zone gets oily. Its a nice and light powder which does not look cakey on the face.It does not contain SPF.
The Good:
Nice and matte finish.Pleasant smell.Good quality puff.Attractive packaging.Affordable.
The not so Good:No mirror provided.Packaging is a bit plasticky & prone to breakage.Does not contain SPF.Rating :3.8/5Overall this is a nice and affordable pressed powder which gives a matte finish and controls the oil on the face.
