Oriflame Very Me Lipmania in Pink Smoothie

By Natasha Bhatt
Hi everyone,Hope you had a great weekend. Mine was a bit boring but relaxed catching up some television shows. I like Comedy Nights with Kapil and have been watching it lately what about you girls? The temperatures are soaring high here in Mumbai and I am sure same is the case with other cities in India too. Coming to today's review this lipstick is one of my favorite shades for the summer and I have used it quite a lot. It is called Oriflame Very Me Lipmania in Pink Smoothie.Let us find out more about this lipstick in my review....

The lipstick comes in an attractive transparent and see through packaging. The shade of the lipstick is clearly visible from the outside. The lipstick has a stiletto imprinted on the tube which makes it all the more girly and attractive to look at. The cap click locks and is sturdy enough. The packaging reminds me of the Jordana lipsticks but this one is much better and cute. The shade name and no is imprinted at the bottom of the lipstick. The lipstick is definitely travel friendly.

The lipstick is a blue based bubble gum pink color a little less muted though. There are purple undertones to it. The lipstick does not contain shimmer at all. The lipstick is very light weight and creamy  and glides smoothly on the lips. Due to its creamy nature it is very moisturizing on the lips. It does not give you any heavy feeling on the lips at all. In my opinion however creamy a lipstick may be you need to properly exfoliate and moisturize your lips before applying any lipstick. The lipstick reminds me of the texture of the Revlon lip butters and the recent Loreal lipsticks which have been recently launched which are more on the moisturizing side with a pop of color. Well this lipstick is a cheaper alternative to those kind of lipsticks. You need to swipe the lipstick more than twice to build the desired color which I am ok with completely. It has a lovely scent which no one can dislike.

Due to its lightweight and creamy nature it will last for 3 hours or so .It does not stain  your lips. Well I do not mind reapplying the shade. Lipstick shades  like these have a tendency to make your teeth look yellow but I do not have yellow teeth so thank god.. Lolzzz..Also this shade may  better suit light to medium skin tone girls but can be used by all skin tones as it is not heavily pigmented and more glossy in nature. This lipstick has melted on me due to its formula so I store it in my fridge, I never had the same problem with other shades though. It is a nice  lipstick for those who do not like saturated and highly pigmented lipsticks and want something light weight on the lips. The Good:Easily available through an Oriflame representative and even online on ebay.Cute yet sturdy packaging.Has a lovely scent.Light weight and moisturizing.

No shimmer.Decently pigmented.Inexpensive.Travel friendly.

The not so Good:Ingredient list  missing.Has a tendency to melt. Not long lasting.

May make the teeth look yellow

Rating :4/5The Oriflame Very Me Lip Mania in Pink Smoothie is a beautiful light weight lipstick which is moisturizing and gives a decent color to the lips too. It is ideal for college students and working women who need a pop of color on the lips on an everyday basis. I recommend this lipstick to everyone except if you are not a fan of these kind of shades.
