Oriflame Pure Color Lipstick in Soft Caramel

Hi everyone,My today's review is from Oriflame cosmetics. Oriflame is a Sweden brand as most of us may know and they have been in India for a while now. They were essentially a skin care brand but now they do sell make up too. Their products are only available through their independent representatives and there is a product catalog which comes out every month from which one can chose the product they want. Coming back to today's review I shall be reviewing a lipstick called Soft Caramel from their Oriflame Pure Color Lipstick line. Read on to know more....

Ingredients: No idea, nothing mentioned on the packaging.

Price: Rs.139/- but I had got this on discount for 99 bucks.Quantity: 2.5g

The lipstick comes in a plastic black packaging. The body is black and glossy and comes with a plastic transparent cover which helps in getting a peek a boo of the lipstick over the top. Nothing is mentioned on the tube as such. The cap click locks and is travel friendly. Overall just normal cheap packaging in my opinion. Nothing spectacular.

The lipstick can be described as  a nude shade with hint of peach. Usually caramel color  would be darker  than this shade but this one is a sheer nude lipstick shade. It has teeny tiny amount of shimmer which acts as a reflective agent on the lips especially when it hits the light making it glossy and shiny. It smells lovely hard to describe the scent but I am sure everyone would love it.The lipstick is extremely moisturizing and glides effortlessly on the lips. You do need to swipe a couple of times to get the desired pigmentation. I felt like I was almost using a tinted lip balm but with a tad bit more color. The shade looks flattering on my fair to medium skin type. If you have pigmented lips like me this will barely last on your lips and even otherwise as it is not highly pigmented and opaque.It may have a tendency to melt in summers if you do not store them properly.
The Good:Beautiful neutral nude shade.Inexpensive.Moisturizing.Glides smoothly on the lips.Travel friendly.

The not so Good:Need to look out for an Oriflame representative to buy this. However their products are also available on Ebay.inNot long lasting.Ingredients list not mentioned.Need to build up the color on the lips.Rating:2/5I am very disappointed with the formula of this lipstick to be honest especially on the staying power part. I had reviewed a Red lipstick before which was nice but I wish they improve the formula so that the staying power gets better. This lipstick is unavailable in their current month;s catalog but however I would not recommend this to anyone unless you want to be experimental and try it.I hope my review was helpful to all those reading..
