I've only used lunch boxes made with plastic, glass, stainless steel and melamine. Have never heard or seen any made with organically grown rice husk! The fact that this lunchbox is chemical-free, biodegradable and earth-friendly makes it stand out from the rest in the market. It is also quite modern and snazzy.
The box itself is shatter-proof - it looks and feels very sturdy. It comes with two dividers that go all the way down making each compartment leak-proof. I tested the compartments with chutney on one side and idlis on the other. And, quite happy with the each stayed on its side. The inside is deep and the width is just right to fit in a standard lunch bag. The set also comes with a strap and cute looking spork. I believe the color is natural, and no dyes are used in this product. I did not see any staining from the turmeric either - everything washed off really well. This set is too pretty, and I will only hand wash it. Overall, I have only nice things to say! I totally feel comfortable using it and glad to pack lunch for my girls in this lunchbox. Hope this is a product you have not seen or heard until now.
