Director of Orangi Pilot Project Parveen Rehman was killed in Banaras area of Karachi on Wednesday evening.
According to sources, Parveen Rehman was Director Orangi Pilot Project was passing through the Banaras pull near Abdullah Collage alongside her driver when unknown gunmen opened fire over his vehicle as a result of which she was critically injured.
Parveen Rehman was immediately rushed to the Abassi Shaheed Hospital but she succumbed to her wounds.
The administration of Abassi Shaheed Hospital has confirmed his death.
