I have the Revealed and the Revealed 2 palettes from Coastal Scents. I am a huge fan of those palettes and I couldn't wait to try the new Revealed 3 palette! Funny thought: I seriously thought this palette was called the Reveal 3D not the Revealed 3 palette. It was not until I started writing this post that I realized my mistake. Thought that might put a smile on some of your faces. Anyway, I thought it would be fun to review this palette by creating seven different eye looks using the palette. Of course, there are many more looks that can be created. However, these are seven looks I created.
I received this palette in my August 2015 Boxy Charm Box. I was so excited they included a palette in the August box. I couldn't wait to start using the eyeshadows. There are 20 eyeshadows in the palette. The palette offers a wide range of colors and I love the colors included. They are very warm shades, which will be so perfect for fall.
There are some matte shades and some shimmery shades. I love having a mix of eyeshadow textures in palettes. Having a mix of shades, helps to create a huge variety of looks. Many of the eyeshadows are very pigmented. However, a few of the lighter colors are not. I wish the lighter shades were a big more pigmented (that would be my only complaint with the palette). The deeper shades are extremely pigmented (as you can see from the swatches above). In the swatches, I did not use any primer under the shadows.
The eyeshadows blend really well and they were so easy to use. The lighter shades are a bit powdery. There is some fallout with the glitter shades, but the fallout is not too terrible. Overall, I really like the colors and the consistency of the eyeshadows. I would definitely recommend this palette and I received many compliments on these eye looks.
