Storyline: Mary Margaret hires Mr. Gold as her attorney when Emma is forced to arrest her for the suspected murder of David's wife, Kathryn. Meanwhile, back in the fairytale land that was, Prince Charming sets out to stop a determined and unhinged Snow White, whose memory is still clouded by Rumpelstiltskin's potion, from assassinating the Evil Queen.Trivia: Behind the opening title, Jiminy Cricket can be seen flying in the woods.

Injoke: Snow White hums a song while reaching for the bluebird (just before she tries to clobber it with a broom). That tune is "With a Smile and a Song," from the 1937 Disney film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Snow: I assume you're the man Rumpelstiltskin helped me forget. What's your name, again?
James: It's me, Charming.
Snow: "Charming"? I'm beginning to see why I drank that potion.
