Survivor

I don't know why this season more than ever I'm so obsessed with how gross everyone must smell on Survivor island, but I am. Last night was the Sprint integration episode where  everyone watched a video on the EVO of their loved ones telling them they were on the island and soooo proud of them. Then Jeff called them out one by one and hysteria set in.  This time even Jeff got choked up when Brenda saw her Dad. Again I'm reminded how dirty and disgusting everyone is when their very clean family members showed up and had to hug and kiss their super smelly spouse, kid, bff etc. It just can't be pleasant. It can't. Anyway, just as the loved ones where getting used to the smell,  it was time to compete. Brenda and her Dad won the reward competition and Brenda chose Dawn and her husband to share the reward BUT then, Jeff threw in a twist.  Brenda could give up her Dad and Dawns husband and the other 4 players could spend time with not only the loved one we knew about, but for the first time ever...a second family member was hidden on the island to get a whiff, break some bread and chill on a giant raft.  So Brenda gave her Dad and Dawn's husband up for the greater good (and hopefully some tribal love) and sent Dawn into meltdown mode...again. Then it was immunity time and Dawn finally won for the first time ever. It should have been a no brainer...send Eddie packing, but Cochran brilliantly swayed everyone to blindside Brenda who was truly shocked and hurt by the snuffing of her torch. Sunday's the finale and it's anybodies game.

Modern Family

I'm a sucker for a good fall, so putting the entire Modern Family clan on roller skates was good for me.  Cam and Phil on skates...ya gotta admit...laugh out loud funny. In addition to prat falls, Manny and Luke were looking for heroes for a school project and we met Mitch's ex, Teddy, who apparently is still really close with the entire family unbeknownst to Mitch. Hard to believe since this family seems to spend every minute together. Also ridiculous that they'd all be going to Teddy's hospital fundraiser and never discuss it but it's a sitcom so I'll let it go. Of course Gloria couldn't  skate and Phil's was the perfect teacher.  Jay asked Claire, who was wearing a great sweater at the start of the episode, and  having a great hair day, to work for him. She came to her decision after showing her supreme skills when she covered for an old co-worker at the roller rinks food court where she used to work back in the day.  Luke was eating himself sick because he chose Claire as his hero over Phil, Cam was pissed that the family loved Teddy more than him, and Hailey for the 2nd or 3rd week in a row demonstrated that she's not a stupid, shallow, bubble head.
The Voice
The Voice's first live elimination show of the season, and Carson's stylist seemed to have gotten the shampoo/conditioner ratio back on track.  Apparently there were some issues with the online and texting votes, so Carson trotted out some guy from Telescope, the counting company, who we were to completely trust when he told us that while these votes aren't being counted, they didn't affect the outcome of the results. So if they didn't count texts and they didn't count online votes what'd they count...calls?   Do we believe that?  The teams joined together to perform 2 songs, "Hall of Fame and "Don't You Worry Child". Both performances were terrible. Rod Stewart and CeeLo (along Juliet Simms from last season) both performed a song each and they stunk too. But let's get down to business...
Team Blake: America saved Holly Tucker, Danielle Bradbery and Blake saved The Swan Brothers and sent Justin Rivers home. I was fine with that.
Team Shakira: America saved Sasha Allen and Chris Thomas and Shakira saved Garrett Gardner and got rid of Karina Iglesias...bad choice in my opinion.
Team Usher: America saved Michelle Chamuel and Vedo and Usher, with his leg in it's now official Voice position,  saved Josiah and sent Katya home. I was fine with that too.
Team Adam: America saved Judith Hill and Amber Carrington and Adam waited for the last possible second to save Sarah Simmons. I think Carson and the producers were having a heart attack.

Nashville

How much do you guys love this show? Seriously...it's so juicy and every one's really enjoyable to look at. Even Scarlett with her ridiculous outfits is awesome in every way. I just love it, especially now that Rayna and Deacon are together. I'm sensing a bumpy road. You know when Teddy and Rayna's sister both told her not to tell Deacon that Maddie is his daughter that of course she's going to tell him. This will infuriate him and send him packing, but for now, he's in love and all puppy dog cute.  Juliette is still out of her mind pissed off about being conned by Dante Revis and drank a bunch of Dom or Perriet Jouet or whatever her champagne of choice was. Who stepped up to the plate to help her? The pill popping Mom of course. Awww that's sweet isn't it?  Rayna and Juliette were both nominated for CMA female vocalist of the year. Scarlett found out Gunnar stole his dead bro's song. I really need Teddy and Coleman to die in the same car accident because every scene with them just brings the whole show to a stand still.  NEWS & INFORMATION
-Adam Levine gets a development deal with NBC and I don't? Really? So if you're a hot musician you're qualified to develop shows and content for NBC? How much TV does Adam watch? Does he know good from bad? These people will give money to anyone hoping for the next big hit. I LOVE Adam, I really do, but what makes him qualified? Music videos? A stint on American Horror Story and he's an expert? I want a development deal too!

OMG! It's been a while since my FBFF/FTSH Jimmy Fallon has posted anything that I felt you MUST see, and even though this clip is long (8 minutes) you need to watch the Karaoke battle between him and John Krasinski...awesome! Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EnsjrDsVyI&feature=youtube_gdata

-I don't even remember which show Deception was, but it doesn't even matter...NBC officially cancelled it.
