Olympic Winners: Makeup Edition

By Behindtheseclosedeyes @theseclosedeyes
After being a proud Briton and watching last night's Olympic closing ceremony, I was looking for a way to incorporate the games into my beauty filled blog. The lovely Beccy of beautybeelondon inspired me with her latest post on her podium favourites and I thought it was a fab idea so I hope that she doesn't mind me joining her in showing you some of my favorite products, with the greatest getting that much sought after gold medal. This theme will be running all through the week with posts on body, skin, hair and nail care favourites, but the first brings you my current makeup favourites. I'm looking forward to making my way through this series and if any of you are interested in taking part then please do and leave me your link so I can have a nosey at your favourites!
Olympic winners: Makeup edition
Taking the bronze is the Sleek blush in Rose Gold which has swiftly made its way back into my everyday makeup routine since I got back from Turkey. As a very affordable dupe of the famous NARS Orgasm blush at only £4.49, it is great for adding a healthy glow to the cheeks with its beautiful pink shade and subtle gold shimmer.
Coming in a close second and taking silver is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation which is without a doubt one of my favorite foundations of all time with great coverage and a very natural looking finish. I use the shade 51 Light Vanilla and it is the closest match that I have to my own skintone which is great as I have always struggled to find a foundation that wasn't too orange for my pale skin.
And finally.. the gold goes to the MUA Undressed Palette which is the newest and most loved product in my makeup stash right now. I'm sure you've all heard about this palette already but for anyone who has missed out, it is an amazing £4 dupe of the Naked palette with great quality shadows and the perfect collection of shades to create a lovely smokey eye.
