Hair & Beauty Magazine
It's favourites time yet again, woah where has the time gone. I still feel like I'm back at the start of October getting into the swing of being back at uni but here we are into November now and getting even closer to Christmas. I don't have too many favourites this month simply because I've been sticking to a lot of my old faithfuls and I'm sure you don't want me to be repeating the same thing every few posts! So let's get stuck into my favourites for the month of October..
The first set of favourites have to be my 3 polishes from the Models Own Wonderland Collection, Jack Frost, Snowflakes and Blizzard, as they are just so darn pretty and the perfect topcoats to make any nail color look more Christmassy. I've been loving Snowflakes in particular as the different sized flakes of sparkle are unlike anything I already own and always leave my nails looking so festive. My next favorite is the L'Oreal Professional Silver Shampoo which has made a return to my hair-care routine as my hair has been looking a bit more brassy since I started growing my roots out. The purple pigmented shampoo is great for leaving blonde hair a lot more natural looking and a lot less yellow, with me reaching for it once a week for the past few weeks. I've already mentioned that I'd been enjoying Benefit's The POREfessional sample but it has been a must have this month as my pores have been making a huge appearance. I think results are quite varied between people but for me it has worked wonders at disguising large pores on my cheeks and around my nose and now that the tube is coming to an end I'm contemplating buying it full sized eek. Next is a new addition and my very first MAC lipstick (exciting I know!) and it is the very lovely Hue which is the perfect 'your lips but better' shade for me. It has been getting plenty of wear since I got my hands on it and is now a staple in my handbag for touch ups during the day. The final product is the Revlon Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake which is a gorgeous sheered out bubblegum pink, although it can be built up to quite a bright shade if that's what you're after. I've been loving this shade for brightening up my natural everyday makeup at uni or work as the hint of color is a lovely addition.
What have you been loving this month?
