Emken gained a 6-point swing in in an Oct. 12 poll, while continuing to challeng Dianne Feinstein to a debate. “Let’s look at an opportunity for California’s U.S. Senate candidates to have an open public discussion on the issues affecting our state and our nation,” said campaign officials.
The latest CBRT Poll shows that the U.S. Senate race is tightening. The latest California Business Round Table/Pepperdine Policy poll shows that the U.S. Senate race has tightened up as Dianne Feinstein is back below 50 percent and the number of undecideds is still a surprising 21 percent.
Feinstein now stands at 48 percent with Elizabeth Emken at 31 percent — that’s a 6 point swing in the past two weeks. The poll also shows a similar bounce for Mitt Romney in California, as the Republican challenger has jumped up 3 points while President Obama has dropped 3.5 points since end of September.
